Review:  I had been using this range extender with great success from my second floor office desktop PC thru a wireless router to a laptop located on my first-floor patio, aboout 150 feet. I consistently had about 20% signal strength without the HSB2, which increased to 80% with it's installation. I received a D-Link Wireless-G MIMO router and PC card as a gift and the HSB2 is not compatible.

Weaknesses:  Easy to break if dropped, store in box when not in use. Also do not leave in sunlight plastic doesn't handle heat well.
Review:  I owned the 1st generation dish "HW8UDD which I used for well over a year and did things with it that amazed my freinds who also owned laptops. One spot I connected to was over 10 blocks away and I was able to connect to it due to a clear line of sight. When using one of these keep mind that line of sight is important. Strengths:  Easy setup if your printer is detected.
Weaknesses:  Little documentation if a problem arises. Website's support page doesn't have the best knowledge base.

Good quick way to boost coverage
Strengths:  Easy to install, gets you a boost in coverage area
Weaknesses:  As others have said, rotating antenna seems a bit flimsy
Review:  This card increased signal strength, but not by a tremendous amount. I also don't love having the card stick out of my laptop a good two inches. I'm just using it now when I need a boost in coverage. Otherwise, I fall back to my internal wireless card.
